What You'll Do:

Automotive Technician

What You'll Do:
  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer
  • Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended

What You'll Do:
  • Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjams
  • Applies was to auto body and wipes of buffs the surface when needed
  • Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
  • Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agent, applicators, and cleaning devices
  • Applies revitalizes and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals
  • Cleans engine and engine compartment with various cleaning agents
  • Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations
  • Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholster, and poor mechanical operation then records and reports to used car manager
  • Restores appearance of engine area, rugs upholstery, and painted surfaces, but using touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials
  • Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection
  • Fills vehicle with fuel; half full for used cars; full for new cars

Internet Sales Representative

What You'll Do:
  • Communicates effectively with internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, e-mail, or in person
  • Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services
  • Satisfies the transportation needs of internet-generated customers
  • Directs customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
  • Assists customers in selecting a vehicle

Parts Advisor

What You'll Do:
  • Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for dealership
  • Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock
  • Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department and collision repair shop
  • Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer from time to time, and completing the appropriate record keeping
  • Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right parts(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced

  • Must have at least 1+ years' experience as an automotive sales role

Parts Manager

What You'll Do:
  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them
  • Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments
  • Work with the service department, collision repair and wholesale account representatives to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs
  • Prepare and administer and annual operating budget for the parts department 
  • Attend managers' meetings

What You'll Do:
  • Satisfies the transportation needs of new/used-vehicle purchases
  • Sells and delivers a minimum of  10 units per month
  • Approaches, greets and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicles by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
  • Explain full product performance, application and benefits to prospects
  • Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase
  • Offers test-drives to all prospects. Follow dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive
  • Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up system

Automotive Service BDC Representative

What You'll Do:
  • Handle inbound phone calls and making appointment reminder outbound calls
  • Other assignments for outbound call include but are not limited to safety recalls, recommended services, special order parts, declined service 
  • Respond to inbound service internet leads by phone, text and email
  • Contacting and communicating with customers to identify needs
  • Updating the service CRM
  • Reschedule missed service appointments 
  • Books appointments based on maintenance schedule per brand and in accordance with company policies and manufacturers specifications
  • Assist with answering customer inquiries and problems by routing customer to the contact and/or department

Service Cashier

What You'll Do:
  • Greet customers at he cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Computes customer bills
  • Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received
  • Makes changes and issues receipts to customers 
  • Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by a manager
  • Reconciles cash drawer

Service Director


What You'll Do:
  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them

Title Clerk

What You'll Do:
  • Processes documents for state registration, completes the proper paperwork and ensures tax and title documents are in order
  • Processes bills, contracts, warranties and service contracts that must be sent to the appropriate agency, such as the Department of Motor Vehicles 
  • Meets company timelines in processing titles and resolve title issues
  • Checks for accuracy in all documents and ensures that all required pars of forms are filled out and signed
  • Additionally, checks for accuracy of vehicle sales and purchase prices
  • Maintains a file of sales, prices, payment, warranties, service contracts and other pertinent information relating to the transfer or sale of a a vehicle
  • Researches vehicles titles and resolves issues in a timely manner
  • Consistently responds to customer inquires and requests in a professional manner within company timelines
  • Continues to train and research to stay up to date with all state regulations since these may change periodically
  • Consistently keeps abreast of changing regulatory information by monitoring Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) websites and ensures that their practices are in alignment with updated regulations

Warranty Clerk

What You'll Do:
  • Processes warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor 
  • Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation
  • Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor 
  • Reconciles all warranty receivable with payments though the appropriate accounting schedule 
  • Post credits on computer
  • Resubmits all rejected claims promptly and receive authorization to write them off
  • Follows up on payment of outstanding claims
  • Tracks warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date or replacement, and date on which part may be disposed
  • Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor
  • Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins 
  • Assists with body shop warranty claims as needed
  • Assists with the cashier and the telephone operator duties as needed
  • Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the fixed operations manager or the controller

Technician

Job Responsibilities

  • Duplicate, diagnose and repair a full range of automotive service issues found on vehicles including those of all electrical systems, engine, transmission, suspension, braking system, and emission system.

Express Lube Technician

Job Description:

  • Perform preventative maintenance; drain engine oil and replace filter, check air pressure and rotate tires, check condition of all air filters, hoses and belts, inspect all fluid levels and replenish, etc., reset maintenance light once service is completed.
  • Perform a thorough check of each vehicle (i.e. battery, lights, tires, etc.), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor; complete 31 point check sheet.
  • Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed; ensuring every vehicle that leaves the dealership is safe to drive according to state requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Prior Quick Lube experience or technical school training a must!
  • Prior dealership experience is a plus
  • Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • State inspection and emissions licenses preferred, but not required
  • ASE certification helpful

Business Development Representative

 Responsibilities

  • Make 75+ outbound phone calls daily to follow up with potential customers
  • Follow up with internet leads via phone and e-mail; participate in "chats" with customers online
  • Obtain information from customer regarding vehicle of interest or special requests; document the details of each conversation with the customer in Dealership CRM
  • Answer general inquiries regarding vehicles in inventory; navigate the manufactures website, dealer website and refer to vehicle books for information when necessary
  • Check the availability of vehicles customers are inquiring about
  • Set appointments for customer to come in and meet with a sales associate; meet with customers as they arrive and introduce the salesperson to ensure a smooth handoff
  • Complete ongoing follow up with customers until they visit the dealership or express otherwise
  • Work with department manager to set monthly goals and reach forecasting objectives

 

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a call center environment is helpful
  • Previous BDC or sales experience (including inside sales, outside sales, retail sales) is preferred
  • Bachelors or Associates degree preferred but not required
  • Must have ability to work a varying Monday-Saturday schedule
  • Excellent follow up skills
  • Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
  • Professional appearance, excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Must possess the ability to ask for the appointment and follow through
  • Must be willing to submit background check and drug screen
