Career Opportunities 

Automotive Technician - IMMEDIATE OPENINGS!

Top Pay $20 - $40/hour

What You'll Do:
  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer
  • Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended 
  • Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
  • Documents all work performed and recommend on the repair order
  • Road test vehicles
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events
  • Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins
  • Inspect and test drive newly delivered vehicles for obvious damage and missing major components and drivability functions
  • Installs optional equipment specified by the customer or dealer
  • Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor 
  • Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notify service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle
  • Keeps shop area neat and clean
  • Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tolls and manuals. Returns them to the proper place in the same condition as there were received
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, Right-to-Know, etc.
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management

Sales and Product Consultant - Immediate Openings!

We're looking for a team player with a passion for delivering a positive, memorable customer experience. Whether you're new to the automotive industry or already have automotive experience, The Ray Price Dealerships are the place to take your career to the next level.

What You'll Do:
  • Build relationships with customers and create customers for life
  • Demonstrate knowledge about each product, optional packages, and latest technology
  • Offer test drives and obtain proper identification from all prospects prior to the drive
  • Ensure each customer understands the vehicle's operating systems, warranty, and paperwork
  • Utilize dealership management systems and other programs to maintain customer information and sales data
  • Assist in writing complete sales orders and process paperwork
  • Maintain a positive work environment in a fast-paced setting
What You'll Need:

Automotive Detailer

What You'll Do:
  • Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjams
  • Applies was to auto body and wipes of buffs the surface when needed
  • Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
  • Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agent, applicators, and cleaning devices
  • Applies revitalizes and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals
  • Cleans engine and engine compartment with various cleaning agents
  • Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations
  • Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholster, and poor mechanical operation then records and reports to used car manager
  • Restores appearance of engine area, rugs upholstery, and painted surfaces, but using touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials
  • Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection
  • Fills vehicle with fuel; half full for used cars; full for new cars
  • Applies dressing on tires and tire wells
  • Reports missing or defective small parts
  • Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times
  • Ensures proper stickers are displayed in the vehicles
  • Make a list of supplies needed which is then to be looked over and approved by used car manager
  • Keeps work area neat and clean

Internet Sales Representative

What You'll Do:
  • Communicates effectively with internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, e-mail, or in person
  • Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services
  • Satisfies the transportation needs of internet-generated customers
  • Directs customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
  • Assists customers in selecting a vehicle
  • Understand the psychology of internet customers and works with them accordingly to draw them into the store for proper vehicle demonstration and to close the transaction
  • Checks e-mail frequently and responds to inquires immediately 
  • Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly and notifies customers that their message has been forwarded to the appropriate personal for prompt attention

Service Cashier

What You'll Do:
  • Greet customers at he cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Computes customer bills
  • Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received
  • Makes changes and issues receipts to customers 
  • Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by a manager
  • Reconciles cash drawer
  • Works with department managers to keep abreast of new products a service offered, their features, value any change in price
  • Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise, and when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution
  • Reconciles gas purchase statements

Express Lube Technician

Job Description:

  • Perform preventative maintenance; drain engine oil and replace filter, check air pressure and rotate tires, check condition of all air filters, hoses and belts, inspect all fluid levels and replenish, etc., reset maintenance light once service is completed.
  • Perform a thorough check of each vehicle (i.e. battery, lights, tires, etc.), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor; complete 31 point check sheet.
  • Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed; ensuring every vehicle that leaves the dealership is safe to drive according to state requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Prior Quick Lube experience or technical school training a must!
  • Prior dealership experience is a plus
  • Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • State inspection and emissions licenses preferred, but not required
  • ASE certification helpful
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record according to dealership standards
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
  • Must be punctual and reliable and have honesty and integrity
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen
